CLUB'S RULES

In order to provide the most enjoyable conditions for all members, your Board of Directors requests that you read and comply with the following rules. They also stand ready or receive and consider any suggestions and/or recommandations you may wish to submit, in writing, at any time.
Starting Time
You are required to report your presence to the starter 15 minutes before your scheduled starting time. Failure to do so may result in your time being re-allocated.
Reservations
From Monday to Thursday (except for Holidays) starting times may be reserved one week in advance. For Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, members must put in an inscription for the draw. The draw will be made at noon on Monday for the next Friday and at noon on Tuesday for the next Saturday, Sunday and holiday. Starting times can be booked in person, by phone or via internet. There is a limit of one starting time reservation per member per day.
When completing your starting time request or booking a tee time, please make sure that you list the name of each member of your group.
Starting Time Cancellation
Each member will have to advise the starter, at the earliest possible moment if he / she has to cancel a starting time. A member who does not comply with this rule, without good cause will have his / her reservation privileges suspended for a specified period of time.
Course etiquette
General Course Rules
All rounds should be completed in no more than 4 hours 20 minutes.
Be at the starter « shack » at least 15 minutes before your starting time.
It is imperative to go directly to your ball and be ready to hit.
Do not pratice your swing on the tees.
Do not leave your golf bag, cart or electric cart in front of the green.
Electric carts must remain and be parked on cart path. If there is none you must park at least 30 feet from greens, tee offs and sand traps.
All signs indicating directions to be taken by electric carts must be observed.
Do not retrieve your ball from the hole by using your putter or any other club.
Please stay clear of any newly seeded areas.
Do not take your pull cart between the sand traps and the green.
Please respect roped-off areas and hazard markers.
If according to the rules it is permitted to remove a marker or a sign, make sure that you replace it after your stroke.
Policy on Enforcement of Disciplinary measures for Members and Guests
Each member has the responsability to comply with the rules and regulations with regards to starting time booking, club rules and golf ethics. Unfortunately, some members and/or visitors will have to be admonished when committing an infraction. The following procedures should be applied:
Each member should bring any infraction to the attention of the member and/or visitor involved when witnessing the infraction of the rules.
Each member will report to the proper authorities all infraction that persist after a first warning.
The staff has the proper authority and the responsibility to issue a warning to a member and/or visitor who does not comply with the rules.
The staff will advise the club Pro on all infraction re-occuring despite the warning.
The club Pro is instructed to and has the proper authority to take all temporary measures required in order to issue pertinent warnings.
If after having been issued a warning a member continues to brake the rule(s), the member will have to appear in front of the disciplinary committee. The committee will anaylse the infraction(s) and will asks the member to defend his/her action(s). The committee will then decide which disciplinary measure will be applied which could be:
The disciplinary committee has the authority to enforce measures such as: verbal warning, written reprimand, temporary suspension of some playing privileges.
The board of directors has the authority to enforce a temporary suspension of all playing privileges or expulsion.
Dress Code
All members, their guests as well as visitors are required to wear a golf shirt with collar. The shirt must be tucked in while on the course or driving range. The mock neck shirt can also be worn. For women, shirts without a collar but sleeves are allowed as well as shirts with a collar but without sleeves. The shirt without sleeves and without collar will be accepted as long as the material covering the shoulders is at least 3 inches wide. The shirt can also be worn on the outside as long as it was designed this way and it covers the waist area and is no longer than mid-hip. The bermuda shorts will be accepted as long as the material is no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Socks must be worn in golf shoes as well as in golf sandals. Golf shoes with metal spikes are prohibited.
N.B.: No jeans, gym shorts, tank-tops or track suits are allowed on the course or practice range.
Reminders
Your captain's committee intends to normalize the accuracy of the handicaps. All scores, without exception, must be entered.
